Lady Sith

AKA: I have no idea how traditional Sith attire works.

This is the character for and our friend's Star Wars dnd one-shot. Warning, this backstory will get kind of jargon-y. Warning 2, I only have a very superficial knowledge of Sith society, so some of this might be wrong. Also I'm hella tired so this'll be a mess. 

(Reference: Sith societies had strict social casts that became so ingrained that they actually became subspecies. Both Massassi and Kassai are ruthless and loyal, but Massassi are much more physically capable and strong, being soldiers, and Kassai are more observant and clever, being priests and skilled in the Force. Sith society performs sacrifices, often with slaves. This happens around the year 3950 BBY)

Shonn was born in the Kissai cast, into a pure-blooded family (and proud of it). She lived well until she turned 4, when long story short her parents refused to partake in a sacrifice and were punished accordingly. Ashamed and angry at her now tainted bloodline, the child fled from her home. She eventually found herself in a Massassi community. Strong for a Kassai, Shonn managed to hide out sight long enough to shed her cast's clothing and steal some standard Massassi clothing. She found herself adopted by a couple that had recently lost their child to illness, and from then on she attempted to hide her origins. She was eager to have a new start.

Eventually, of course, her adopted parents found out about her sub-species. By then, they had grown to love the brash runt, so desperate to prove herself. As far as anyone outside the family was concerned, she was a rather petite but average Sith. She became the pride of her parents as she trained and developed her skill. As she grew, it became clear that she was much more clever than her peers. In order to hide this natural ability, Shonn became brash and short-tempered, preferring to solve problems with her fists than to bother considering intellectual solutions. 

Adulthood is very vague, but she began travelling to become as strong as possible. Power became her obsession, Shonn was dedicated to prove she was strong enough to be a Massassi. Not to mention, with the Sith worlds in shambles, it became clear that soon, every Sith would have to fight to survive. Now 30, although pretending to be 25 (as Kissai live about 10 years longer than Massassi), Shonn seems to have missed the chance to have her own children, as she once wished. She is disappointed but accepts the way her life has turned. 

In summary: She is angry and will fight anyone. She'll fight a wookiee. She'll fight a Hutt. She'll fight a Death Star. She'll fight herself, give her a mirror come on let's go.
